A Problem for the Ages

Somebody at work keeps stealing my cheese. Seriously. I've been buying packages of pepperjack and marble string cheese, which I snack on once or twice a day, along with a cup of Mott's Grandma Smith applesauce -- because it makes me feel French (don't ask).

But someone in the office has been stealing one and sometimes two sticks of cheese from me everyday. I tried putting my name on the package, but it happened again. And today I opened up the refrigerator to find an empty package with no cheese in it. Muy horrible, right?

I feel like I have a mouse problem. And I really hate rodents. Really, really hate them.

Has this ever happened to you???

What should I do? Life isn't worth living without string cheese, but it requires refrigeration. Alas, alack!

Cheeseless,
etc

Perhaps put it in a jar that will give them a shock:

...or make a subtle statement by putting a mouse trap (set or not) on top of your cheese.

Cybele, I love the Shocolate Vault, but am afraid of getting sued if my mouse has a pacemaker.

Sebrina, I might just try the mouse trap. Unset, though. Dang sue culture!

I don't have an answer, except to say this totally reminded me of the episode of Friends where someone steals Ross's sandwich. My one solution would be to get one of those small 6-pack size fridges for your office/cube.
